Arduino is very user friendly and many times you need arduino simulator for doing any new trick that may damage arduino . This tutorial will tell you how to simulate Arduino with proteus.
Things you need for arduino simulation
1) Proteuse ISIS (click here to download )
2) Proteus arduino library (click here to download)
1) First install the Proteus 7 is ISIS
2) Extract the folder in library folder of Proteus which must be located in disk C in Program files or Program files (x86). If you are using portable version then library folder is present in same folder from where you open ISIS.exe that is application

4) click on P as shown in image
5) Enter arduino in search box, then double click on arduino board as per your requirement
6) And here comes your arduino
for that open preferences of arduino software.
8) check following which will generate hex file location after compilation
9) compile your your program.

10) double click on arduino to open this window, then paste the address of hex file
11) play the simulation
